Where Our Content Comes From

Every film, short, and series on Cineplex is either uploaded directly by the creator or rights holder, or licensed to us for distribution. When creators join the platform they confirm that they own their content or hold the rights needed to distribute it, and they grant Cineplex a license to stream it to viewers, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not host or stream content scraped or copied from other services.

Cineplex respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects everyone using the platform to do the same. Uploading content you do not have the rights to is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in the content being removed.

Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe that content available on Cineplex infringes your copyright, you (or your agent) may send us a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it on the platform (for example, the title and URL);
• Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Send DMCA notices to our designated copyright agent at info@cineplex.media with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice", or by mail to: Cinecorp LLC, 2810 N Church St PMB 186217, Wilmington, Delaware 19802-4447, US.

When we receive a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who uploaded it.

Counter-Notification

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification. It must include identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and telephone number, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the United States, the District of Delaware), and your physical or electronic signature. Unless the original claimant files a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving a valid counter-notification.

Repeat Infringers

Cineplex terminates the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our discretion, limit access to the platform or remove the content of any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is repeat infringement.
